Challenge #2 - Charms & Popcorn Bear Product Spotlight

Welcome back to Stamp and Create!!

It's time for another Challenge!! On the first monday of each month, we will host a new challenge for a chance to win...

...a $20 gift certificate to Stamp and Create!!

This month's challenge is brought to us by Joy and her challenge is...Charms!!

It's also time for a new product spotlight!! For the next 2 weeks, all Popcorn Bear stamps will be on sale 25% off (through June 20th)!!

These stamps are deeply etched unmounted-grey rubber. They all come with an accessory stamp as well as a few sentiments as well. But be warned...these are LARGE stamps!! Most will not fit on an A2 size card! But they are so adorable that you may just have to create larger square cards instead!!

To showcase the Popcorn Bear stamps, the Design Team have each used a different Popcorn Bear image...

Joy

Popcorn bear - Thinking of you, Kaiser Craft DP- La Di Da, large star spacer, butterfly charm, butter cream shimmerz, and Spellbinders Lotus Pendant Die.

I love how Joy used the backside of Popcorn!!

Sharon Sharon used the new Smile Popcorn bear stamp along with May Arts Silk Ribbon tied with the fabulous Bow Easy, and dangling from that is a heart charm. Just an FYI, Sharon excluded 3 of the floating balloons from this image since it was so large.

Jeanette

Jeanette used Popcorn Bear "Someone Special" which she colored with Copic Markers. She used paper from the Cosmo Cricket "Material Girl" pack and silk ribbon in Ivory. She created this perfect bow using the Bow Easy and finished off by adding this sweet teddy bear charm.

Lacey I used Party Time Popcorn Bear. This card is 6" Square so that gives you an idea of the size of this stamp (which is one of the largest along with "smile"). I used some Pink Silk Ribbon with the Bow Easy, Basic Grey Bittersweet DP, Flower Spacer 2, flower 2 charm, and Basic Grey large brad.

Popcorn Bear Product Spotlight Week two

Welcome back to Stamp and Create!

It's a busy week for releases here! If you missed yesterday's post, Wags 'n Whiskers released some rubber stamps into digis on friday, Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps had a release on Sunday, and High Hopes had a release yesterday.
Today it's time to release the newest Greeting Farm kit!!

Sharon used "Thinking of You" Popcorn Bear stamp with just one of the sentiments that comes with this set. Other products used are Classic Rectangle Nestabilites Small, White May Arts silk ribbon, Bow Easy, Butterfly charm, Kaiser flat backed pearls, and Angel Wings Shimmerz on all the flowers.

If you prefer to have your stamped on cling foam and don't want the hassle of doing it yourself, I am not offering a cling mounting add-on option!For any unmounted rubber stamp, you can now purchase a cling mount add-on.

Hi there!! I hope you had a lovely weekend and have lots of fun plans for the weekend!!

Today I have another sample from the Design Team using Shimmerz Products which are still on sale this week for 25% off! The sale ends Monday morning, so grab them while they are on sale!

Joy made these adorable mini composition books using some of the girls from The Greeting Farm: Roll Call Kit...

She added Shimmerz to the flowers and sprayed Spritz over the images for an overall shimmer.

~ CC Designs has a new release on Monday, May at 7:00pm. This release has a lot of new Sweet November stamps that are absolutely adorable!!

Shimmerz Coaster Alphabet

I have another quick tutorial for you using Shimmerz products.

I created this layout last week and used custom made coaster alphabet for the title...

Here's a close up view of part of the title...
You can see the shimmer from the Shimmerz Vibez as well as the shine from the Glossy Accents to make this appear like glittery epoxy stickers.
To get started, I die cut my letters from a cuttlebug alphabet die from lightweight coasters. Then I evenly sprayed Shimmerz Vibez (Princess) on each letter...

In the picture above, I had only started. You would add more Vibez to completely color the coasterboard. I let it sit over night, but it doesn't take that long

After it dried, I added some glossy accents... In the photo above, I have covered the "r", "c", and half of the "t" with the glossy accents. The remaining letters to the right are just covered with the Shimmerz Vibez.

Here's a closeup of another title I created with the same Vibez...

The above picture was taken with a flash so you can see the shimmerz well. These letters only have the Shimmerz, not the glossy accents for a different look.

I hope that gave you another idea of what you can do with Shimmerz products!

Shimmerz Product Spotlight Week 2

Welcome back to Stamp and Create.
We are now on week 2 of the Shimmerz Product Spotlight.

Below are some more wonderful samples from the AWESOME design team!!

Here is Jeanette's card. She used CCDesigns Nora on Swing and paired it up with Basic Grey Cappella patterned paper and a Basic Grey clear button that is backed with more of the BG paper. She added Shimmerz in Angel Wings to the hair and Morning Mist to the wings. You can see the Shimmerz effect better in this photo:

Next we have Chris's card. Chris used Whiff of Joy-Henry with Broken Leg from the new Get Well Collection. She also used paper from the Basic Grey Wisteria Collection, Kaiser Craft Snow White pearls, butterfly charm, white silk ribbon, Labels 10 nestabilities and added Opal Shimmerz to the ears and cheeks and PearlZ Pearl Shimmerz on the cast and on the die cut butterfly. You may want to click on the photo to get a better view of the shimmerz.

Here's a card by Sharon...

Sharon used one of the stamps from the new Roll Call Kit by The Greeting Farm. Also used are papers from Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety, one of the brand new colors of May Arts Silk Ribbon, Kaiser red rhinestones, Prima Innocence Foxglove flowers, and Angel Wings Shimmerz.

And one from Lacey...This image is Lily Spring Fairy. Such a sweet doll!! I used some cameo primas, mini rose primas, silk ribbon, Kaisercraft pearls, paper doily, and Shimmerz Vibez (to create the background...see tutorial in the post below).
