Summer Time!

Welcome back to Stamp and Create!

Well, it's Summer Time so that means it's time for a little break.

During the Summer, we will be taking a break from the weekly "Product Spotlights".

There will be some sales here and there and I've decided to keep some of the past Product Spotlight items still on sale so that there are still many discounts available over the summer.

Some items that are still on sale are:

Pirates, Whiff of Joy, SWALK, Charms, Buttons, many Love/Valentine designs, plus many other assorted items throughout the store.

We will be back at least once a week with product updates as they come in or with inspiration posts. Plus we will also continue with the Monthly Challenges.

Product Spotlight - Pirates

This week our product spotlight over at Stamp and Create is

PIRATES 

there is a massive 25% off this category for this week only.

Here is the design teams inspiration for you using the theme of Pirates, all the stamps are available to purchase in store.

JOY
Joy used the Sweet and Toxic set for her image and the splotchy set for her background from TGF. She colored her hair pink and her outfit gray with copics. She used some May Arts black crocheted ribbon with some faux suede ruffled edge black ribbon over it, hung an anchor charm, added bling everywhere and used a computer generated sentiment.

HEIDI

Heidi used Kraftin' Kimmie Billy Blyth. She also used the Fancy Pants Beach Bum Paper which is fantastic for anything sea related! The map was created using one of the neutral papers in the pack and then stamped with her own map stamp. Stamp and Create also carries Beach Babe, the girly version by Fancy Pants. The tan circle is twine that she wrapped around itself and then added an Anchor Charm. She also used May arts Champagne Netting.

CHRIS

Chris used Kraftin Kimmie Strawberry Pirate for her center step card.  The pirate is colors with copics and framed with a lacey ovals dies from Spellbinders.

Jeanette has used High Hopes Stamps' On Guard Oberto. The button is Basic Grey June Bug and the paper is Cosmo Cricket's Boyfriend 6x6 paper pad.

Vicky

Vicky has used Unregrettable Pirate Life by Sweetpea. Her papers are Kaisercraft Pack your bags, the flower is Basic Grey from the Max and Whiskers range, as are the pearls.

I'm back from my trip to St. Lucia for my brother's wedding. We had soooo much fun!!

If you would like to see some pictures of my trip, make sure to check out my personal blog later this week. I have downloaded the pictures from my card, but haven't had the chance to go through them.

Most of the orders that were placed this weekend have already shipped out today. I only have a few that I couldn't get packaged before the post office closed. Those will go out on Tuesday.

June Challenge - SUMMER

Happy Monday Everyone!! Can you believe it the first Monday in June?!!! Yikes! How time flies!! Since it is the first Monday in June, it is also time for another challenge!! Woo hoo!! This month's challenge is easy peasy. Since most schools are letting out and it is the beginning of summer vacation for most, we are challenging you to a summer creation.

**Lacey is just getting back into town from her brother's wedding and will be back later with the winner of the last challenge**

Lacey used the darling Wags n Whiskers image Chillin Out. Isn't it perfect for summer!!

CHRIS

Chris used the darling image A Blossom for You from Belles N Whistles to great card with a treat box attached. The sentiment is computer generated. The gift bag is filled with chocolate covered sunflower seeds.
In addition to using the stamp from the store, Chris also used orchid fairytale roses, the bow easy and Kaisercraft "Pearl" Pearls

JOY
Joy decided to use Surfer Anya from TGF. She colored her with her copics, added some stickles and bling, used some dyed seam binding ribbon - red, new DP called Beach Babe from Fancy Pants and she used her ticket die and treasured moments sentiment from Whimsy Stamps.

HEIDI

This perfect summer card features High Hopes Surfer Dude Dudley. It also features some fantastic summer/beach paper by Fancy Pants called Beach Bum. Stamp and Create also carries the girl version of the paper called Beach Babe. The card is accented with May Arts White Silk Ribbon and American Crafts White Pearl Brads.

Jeanette has used the lovely Sarah Kay stamp: Juliet in the garden of nasturtiums to create this criss-cross pocket card. She added a small heart charm underneath the satin bow.

Joy used the Cute Donkey from Whiff of Joy. She decided to make a tag with it as it comes with the To: and From: sentiment as well. She colored him with her copics, added some stickles, used her snowflake punch and some dyed seam binding ribbon.

CHRIS

Chris used the darling Bruno the Bear with cupcake image. She had fun coloring it with copics!! She also used Basic Grey Hello Luscious Dp, Belle Arts Prima Novelty flowers, tear drop white lace, the bow easy, Spellbinders Beaded Ovals and Whimsy's Party Mini Letter seals available in the Stamp and Create Store.

HEIDI

Heidi used Whiff of Joy Nora with Ducks and Umbrella with the Brand New Echo Park Summer Days Paper. She accented the card with Flower Spacers #2 and an Umbrella Charm.

Jeanette has used one of whimsical gnomes for her card. This sweet stamp is called I Miss You Gnome. This image is perfect for a card for someone who has just moved or even as a teacher appreciation card. She added a little machine stitching around the card and a thin band of patterened paper from Basic Grey's Nook and Pantry collection. The buttons are Basic Grey Pyrus and she also added some red mini pom-pom ribbon for a little added dimension.

Lacey using the adorable Puff-Heart Dragon along with some Basic Grey Marjolaine paper, ric rac ribbon, pearls, and Whimsy sentiment.
